Hi guys i am performing an average formula which ignores 0 values however if there are no figures in the cells to be average i want the result cell to display nothing rather than 0. How can i do this, here is the formula I am using =SUMIF(VZ56:ZX56,">0")/MAX(1,COUNTIF(VZ56:ZX56,">0"))
Thanks
Stephen

Excel Facts

How to find 2nd largest value in a column?
MAX finds the largest value. =LARGE(A:A,2) will find the second largest. =SMALL(A:A,3) will find the third smallest
try this

=SUMPRODUCT(--(VZ56:ZX56>0)*(VZ56:ZX56))/SUMPRODUCT(--(VZ56:ZX56>0))
