I have created templates, used by many others, some of whom will protect their files, where "read only" is not available. This prevents me from accumulating and extracting data for the roll up.
Is it possible, to insert via macro, in the creation of the template, a password, my password, which will allow me into their protected files, even if protected with their own password? thanks for any feedback.

Can you sort left to right?
To sort left-to-right, use the Sort dialog box. Click Options. Choose "Sort left to right"
The short answer is no. It seems strange that they are supplying you with files that you cannot read at all. A bit of user training required.

If you can read the files a macro will also be able to.
