Hi,
I have a bank statement in the format marked input below . I want to concatenate all the text together , but the number of rows vary.

======> input
date--------- text---------debit ---------credit
28/9---------big
-------------store
-------------in big
-------------town--------200----------------
29/9---------small
-------------store in
-------------small town--------------------100

======> output
date----text--------------------debit------credit
28/9----big store in big town-----200
29/9----small store in small town-------------100

regards and thanks Paul

This is amazing !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thank you Thank you thank you

I cleaned up all the data to remove the bumf as you suggsted. There wee some off transactions with one line which it din't like
eg
31/12 opening balance 200

I fixed these by adding a dummy line
31/12 opening balance
-------dummy ---------------2000
and it worked perfectly!!!!!!!!!!!
