Good morning - I have a bar chart that refuses to display the x axis labels correctly. The axis is set as "Text Axis", but instead of showing the values in E12:E15, it just shows "1,2,3,4,5"
I've tried changing the values in the cells and recalculating, but the axis labels won't change.
Any suggestions, kind people?
Thanks - Pete

Excel Facts

Format cells as currency
Select range and press Ctrl+Shift+4 to format cells as currency. (Shift 4 is the $ sign).
Right-click it, choose Select Data, and see what is set for the category axis label range.

Weird one - I set the X Axis it to a different cell range and it showed those values correctly. I then set it back to the correct cell range and it now displays THOSE correctly. Stand down, team - and thank you. Sometimes it's OK to have a solution, even if you don't know WHY it's a solution - life's too short.
