Is there any way I can schedule an Excel File to open itself and update the links and close itself daily?
I have ticked the iteration box in tools, options, calculations and each time I close the Spreadsheet it is unticked. Any Ideas?

cheers

You can use the application.ontime event to run scheduled routines, BUT:

You must leave excel running. You can close the file, and it will open itself at the appropriate time, but if you have macro warnings enabled, I believe it will sit and wait until you click enable macros.

Check out the VB help, or post back here if this will meet your needs and I'll post some code.
