how can i solve this problem?
If I had found , I would not have askedIf you do a simple Google search, you can find many articles on this topic.
Here is one to get you started, but there are many others:
Excel opens a blank screen when you double-click a file icon or file name - Microsoft 365 Apps
Offers resolutions to an issue where you see a blank screen when you try to open an Excel workbook by double-clicking its icon or file name.learn.microsoft.com
Many people ask without even searching. We have no way of knowing if you did or not, as you did not mention that in your original post.If I had found , I would not have asked
you're right i didn't mentioned to my searches in first post i tried all tips in web and still nothingMany people ask without even searching. We have no way of knowing if you did or not, as you did not mention that in your original post.
You have given us very little to work with, and since we do not have access to your file and system, there is only so much we can do.
It might be helpful if you could let us know:
- Does this happen for ALL Excel files, or just certain ones?
- How exactly are you opening this file (from a shortcut, from Windows Explorer, or by going in to Excel and browsing to the file)?
- What extensions do these Excel files have (xls, xlsx, xlsm, xlsb, etc)?
- Is there and VBA code in the files that exhibit this behavior?
- Are you using a Personal Macro workbook in Excel?
- Have you installed any Excel Add-Ins?
If none of the options listed in that document I listed in the first post work, I would recommend searching other articles too, and see if you can find one that does work for you, like this one that seems to mention the version it looks like you are using (Excel 2016): Excel 2016 opens a second blank window when opening a file from Explorer with preview pane on?
That really doesn't answer my question. There are various different ways to open Excel files.somehow i open files it happens
yesThat really doesn't answer my question. There are various different ways to open Excel files.
- Some people open the Excel application, and then browse to files from inside Excel.
- Some people use Windows Explorer, find the Excel file listed there, and double-click it.
- Some people use shortcuts to Excel files that that have placed on their Desktops.
Which one of these three methods are you using?
Do you still have the same thing happen when you try the other methods?
for all files (with macro or without macro) it happenOne other question you did not answer, do you have a Personal Macro Workbook in Excel?
No, that is not what I am asking. I am asking if you have a Personal Macro Workbook in Excel.for all files (with macro or without macro) it happen
