Blank rows in chart

I have a table which is populated depending on different selections in combo boxes; this means that the table has a different number of rows and columns dependant upon what is selected.

I am then using this table to create a chart but when there are rows of blank data they are still showing in the chart; I have searched all over the internet and the only way I can find to do this is to manually hide the blank rows in the table - surely there is a better way?

Thanks in advance!

Excel Facts

Return population for a City
If you have a list of cities in A2:A100, use Data, Geography. Then =A2.Population and copy down.
You could sort the data (blanks go to the end of the sorted range) or filter our the blanks.
