Break links

I did a quick search but I didn't find anything that exactly answered my question.

I just wrote a macro that doesn't really do anything more than add a couple of columns of data with if statements and formats the whole thing to look pretty. It also moves the data sheet to a new file, names it, and saves it.

I would like to break the links to the orginal file so the new file stops asking me if I want to update the links.

What do I need to add to my macro to do that?

TIA,

me

You can teach Excel a new custom list. Type the list in cells, File, Options, Advanced, Edit Custom Lists, Import, OK

How is the data moved to the new sheet?
Is it by copying and pasting or Paste Special>Values.....?
Care to post your code?
