breaking unwanted links

Anybody know how to get rid of unwanted links

The easy way is to select Edit->Links, and use that dialog to re-direct or break links to each file that is referenced...

Is there a way to highlight (or otherwise identify) cells that have an unwanted link prior to breaking them?

The only way I know to do THAT is to use the Find feature of Excel, and look for ".xls" in formulas... the method I described in my earlier post is wholesale across the file, and is organized by file, not by formula.
