Hi guys I have a database which is quite complex and am stuck with getting this database into forms.
When I have a 1:N relationship I understand that I use the 1 side for the singleform and the N side for the endless form.
But when the N side has other linked tables I am not sure how to set it up in forms.
Also what I am not sure about is how to work with linked tables.
So when a project has it Project details and so forth but then is linked to customers so the customer table is the 1 Side and is linked to CustProject wich is the linked table to customers and to project.
I am not sure if you guys understand what I am saying but I hope someone does and can put me into the right direction as I am running in circles :(

Thanks for any help!!
Cheers

Excel Facts

Using Function Arguments with nested formulas
If writing INDEX in Func. Arguments, type MATCH(. Use the mouse to click inside MATCH in the formula bar. Dialog switches to MATCH.
What exactly is the problem? CustProject is a junction table. It is used to resolve the M:M between Customers and Projects.
Why the issue with linked tables. Just think of the table as a table.

CustProj identifies CustomerID and ProjectId. You can get other Cust info from the Customer table; and you can get other Proj info from the Projects table.

Customer has PK CustId or something similar (same value as CustId in CustProj table). Similarly, Projects has PK ProjId or similar(same value as ProjId in the CustProj table.

Good luck.

To set it up in the forms, you would use a main form for the table which is the one side and then subform(s) for the many side(s).
