Button color and text

I am using excel 2016 on a mac.
I have put a button on a spreadsheet using the Button icon on the Developer tab. The button is to run a macro.
I have been able to change the text font on the button but would like ti change the text color and the background color of the button.
Could someone tell me how to do this please?

I know nothing about Excel for Mac
But if your using a Activex Button.
Right click on the Button in developer mode and choose Properties.
There you can change all you want.

You cannot change the colour of a Form Control button. Why not use a shape instead, that way you can change pretty much everything.

Thanks Fluff. I did not realise shapes could have macros assigned to them. I have done that - exactly what I needed.
