Has anyone experience with EXCEL and DWG?

I want to select (with mouse) an object in a DWG-file. This selected object i want to drop in excel, where i can see the information.

I don’t have a CAD appliction, like ACAD, installed.

Please help me.

Excel Facts

Which came first: VisiCalc or Lotus 1-2-3?
Dan Bricklin and Bob Frankston debuted VisiCalc in 1979 as a Visible Calculator. Lotus 1-2-3 debuted in the early 1980's, from Mitch Kapor.
Thnx for your reply, but i would like to use VBA. I want to control, what the end-user sees.

When I select a block of elements in the DWG. I want to see only the information I pre-selected.
For example. The object, name and size.
The end-user has to pick quickly more selections to excel.
