I receive the total pay for an employee and the pay rate. What formula can I use to come up with the hours taking in to account overtime?

Welcome to the Board!

Do they get some rate above their normal rate for overtime?
If so, what is it?

And is overtime anything in excess of 40 hours?
Or is it some other number of hours?

Can you provide some sample figures with expected results, so we can make sure we create a formula that does what you want/expect?
