Can a single Slicer affect more than one chart?

I'm trying to create a dashboard that will have multiple parts, each showing different data points, but I'd like for the different datapoints to be impacted by the same Slicer. For example, the slicer allows me to select one or more geographic regions. This impacts a chart that shows me how many people in each region (selected using the Slicer) have purchased a boat. I have another chart that shows how many people live in the region. I want the choice made in the Slicer used to select the region for boat purchasers, to also be used/impact the chart showing how many people live in the region. It doesn't work to have both data points on the same chart, I need two.

Is this possible and if so, how?

Thanks in advance.

Did you know Excel offers Filter by Selection?
Add the AutoFilter icon to the Quick Access Toolbar. Select a cell containing Apple, click AutoFilter, and you will get all rows with Apple
Hello,

If you are using the same pivot table data (same data but multiple pivot tables), you should be able to. Try first to select your slicer, go to the slicer menu that pops up on ribbon, click report connections, and select/deselect pivots to link to your slicer. I have a dashboard set up this way as well, it's pretty convenient.

Thank you for your reply and sorry about the delayed response. This worked perfectly. THANK YOU
