Can the LOOKUP_VALUE in a MATCH function be CONCATENATED?

Can the lookup_value within a MATCH function use the Concatenated value of two cells to identify the COLUMN number of a spreadsheet?

MATCH(lookup_value, lookup_array, [match_type])

Something like this is what I'm attempting : MATCH(CONCAT(A1,"-"B1),Sheet2!$3:$3,0)

Yes, but you want something more like this:

=MATCH(CONCAT(A1,B1),Sheet2!C:C,0)

CONCAT is incredibly useful for concatenating a large number of strings.

For just two cells and a hyphen, I'd use the ampersand instead.

=MATCH(A1&"-"&B1,Sheet2!$3:$3,0)

I landed on the following formula, but will give the ampersand an attempt as well :

=INDEX($D$8:$H$9,MATCH($D$13,$C$8:$C$9,0),MATCH(CONCATENATE($D$14,"-",$C$15),$D$8:$H$8,0))

I was beginning to doubt this would work, but I believe it had more to do with the lookup_arrays I was using than the actual CONCAT.
