Hi All, I'm wondering if the below is possible.

I work for a transport company and want to create a transfer file to import my driver and vehicle availability into a new piece of software.

to be able to do this I need to use some kind of look up's on our current availability sheet and produce a import csv in a set formula.

so for example, I need to be able to search the sheet for any cell that says VOR. and return that as a "1" and have the fleet number and date next to it.

my driver and vehicle sheet looks like this.

and I would need the transfer file to look like this,

Any help would be much appreciated.

many thanks.

Not everything I do at work revolves around Excel. Only the fun parts.
I would suggest yo use XL2BB to post your sample data so that anyone trying to help you doesn't have to retype it.
Also, you sample shows many "VOR" cells but your result shows only one. Should all of the fleet numbers be listed for each date?
More info would help.
