Can you remap data links before sending the workbook? (Linked Excel and Access)

I need to share a workbook that is linked to about 5 files on my pc, so someone else can run our KPI report.
I know is localized but wondered if there was anyway to remap a copy to someone else's pc and then send them the appropriate data files. It should work if they save in the right path I think.
This is to avoid the inevitable red errors they will get when trying to open refresh the workbook.
It would also save me having to load all the tables for them and complaints it is too complicated.
I was going to use a shared drive but some of the data is secure by role.
Any ideas appreciated.
