cannot find "enable editing" option to return original print view settings

I have an excel spreadsheet with around a dozen worksheets that are supposed to be set up for printing with a landscape orientation. However, as of today, these sheets are appearing in portrait. This is happening for ALL iterations of this particular document (I've got several versions as I would make various changes to formatting, macros, etc.), and it happens when I open the spreadsheets in both Excel 2011 for Mac and Excel 2010 on Windows.

On a friend's computer running Windows 7 and Excel 2010, he could make the document appear correctly by clicking the "enable editing" option in the menu bar. However, the problem is that no "enable editing" option shows up for me when I open the document. I have played with the trust center settings for a couple hours to no avail.

I'm hoping to not have to attach a copy of the file as this will entail a significant amount of scrubbing and deleting. But if that's necessary, I'll make it happen.

Any thoughts?

Thanks so much for your help!

Excel Facts

Remove leading & trailing spaces
Save as CSV to remove all leading and trailing spaces. It is faster than using TRIM().
In the Windows version, click on the File tab, > Print, check=k the settings, I assume it is similar for Mac.

Thanks for pointing me in that direction. Apparently, earlier in the day I had tweaked my Windows settings by making some services "manual" instead of "automatic." One of those was the print spooler - and apparently, with that turned off, it affected how the sheets were viewed.

Thanks again for the prompt response!
