Hi all! Was so happy with my result here yesterday, here's another one!

Below, I have a list of numbers. Some occur once, twice etc... In Column B I want to insert a formula which identifies the value in A as 1) the first occurrence 2) the last occurrence 3) a middle occurrence or 4) the only occurrence. I've drafted the desired output in red for this example. Any idea what formula combination I could use?

Excel Facts

Select a hidden cell
Somehide hide payroll data in column G? Press F5. Type G1. Enter. Look in formula bar while you arrow down through G.
One option
Excel Formula:
=IF(COUNTIF(A:A,A1)=1,"Only",IF(COUNTIF(A$1:A1,A1)=1,"First",IF(COUNTIF(A$1:A1,A1)=COUNTIF(A:A,A1),"Last","Middle")))
