cell entry carrying over to every worksheet in workbook

Hello!

Does anyone know why or how, when I make an entry into my selected cell, in the desired worksheet, within large workbook - the cell entry sometimes automatically copies into that same cell in each spreadsheet within the workbook? It is messing everything up! PLEASE HELP!

Sounds like you have grouped the sheets. Try clicking on a sheet tab to ungroup them.

Are all the sheets activated? Their tabs appear white rather than grey. This by design will copy changes in a cell into the corresponding cell in all activated worksheets.
