Cell referencing with minus and brackets

Hi.

I have a cell which is -5. I want the cell to be referenced so it shows (5) but the only way I can get it to display is like -(5). How do I correct this?

Format cells as time
Select range and press Ctrl+Shift+2 to format cells as time. (Shift 2 is the @ sign).

Set up a custom format. Press Ctrl + 1, Number, Custom under the Category list and enter :

#,##0;(#,##0)

Format the cell as a Number and specify Negative numbers: (1234.10) and zero decimal places if you don't want (5.00).
