Cells.SpecialCells: Do you use it much?

Hello,
Saw this in some of the threads here on MrExcel and I don't have any familiarity with it.

Do you find yourself using it a lot and if so, how does it make your life/coding easier?

Very well. (subject to a limitation of 8192 discrete areas)

If writing INDEX in Func. Arguments, type MATCH(. Use the mouse to click inside MATCH in the formula bar. Dialog switches to MATCH.
Meaning that SPECIALCELLS will treat HIDDEN (height / width = 0) and AUTOFILTERED (not visible) the same?

Yep - only looks at visible ones (assuming you are using xlcelltypevisible)
