I have read all of the messages on this board in regards to how to make a cell or row change color when it is selected..... I still have a question on this.

I have a worksheet that is locked, and the user can only select UNLOCKED cells, I am trying to get the entire ROW to highlight when the cell is selected. I do have specific colors used in my worksheet right now, I hope this will not make things too difficult.

I have tried the other code samples, but I cannot get anything to work.

Why does 9 mean SUM in SUBTOTAL?
It is because Sum is the 9th alphabetically in Average, Count, CountA, Max, Min, Product, StDev.S, StDev.P, Sum, VAR.S, VAR.P.
I am using COPY from this worksheet then doing a PASTE SPECIAL on another worksheet - with what I am asking for - will that disable these two functions that I am already using?
