Afternoon all
Need help with formula that will change military rank (i.e. 1, 2, 3 into Amn, A1C, SrA). Running IF formula that does not work consistently, sometimes blank cell is civilian and formula stops working

Excel Facts

Select all contiguous cells
Pressing Ctrl+* (asterisk) will select the "current region" - all contiguous cells in all directions.
No your Downloads folder.... normally something like C:\Users\yourusername\Downloads then drag/copy the XL2BB file to C:\Users\yourusername\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\AddIns (please note that AppData is normally hidden by default so you have to unhide hidden folders if it is).
Once you have it there right click the file, click properties and on the General tab look near the bottom and check if you have Unblock near the bottom, if you do then put a checkmark in the box.
Then open a new Excel file and follow the instructions given in the link.

If everything has been done correctly (inc. unblocking the file) then you should have a MrExcel tab on your ribbon, do you not see one?

Did you browse to the file?

I don't understand what you are double clicking
I was click happy and not paying attention...yes I have that tab

All you do is select your range, click that tab, click capture range, click generate output (you'll probably get a message box to ok) and paste in the reply window.

I'll look at it tomorrow if no-one else does as getting close to 1am here.
