I need to output a table to share on a SharePoint site, but need date inlcuded in the table name. Is there a way to systimatically change the name of the table a make table is creating? vb or otherwise?
You can do this in code; you will need to rewrite the SQL string in VBA, then run it.
Example:
Code:
Dim strSQL As String
Dim strName As String
strName = "tmakSomething " & Format(Now(),"yyyymmdd")
strSQL = "SELECT tblDummy.Field1, tblDummy.Field2 INTO " & strName & " FROM tblDummy;"
CurrentDb.Execute strSQL
