I have a list of countries in my Excel tool and each of them has their own PDF file content.

I have embedded these PDFs as objects into the Excel tool, so that users of the Excel tool can open up the PDFs within the Excel file.

In the dashboard, users can select a country from a dropdown list and I would like the corresponding PDF object to show up (i.e., the PDF files are not be displayed together, but only based on cell value).

This link has the solution for pictures/images:

I've tried taking the same approach for the objects, but it does not work. I'm wondering if anyone has an equivalent solution for Excel objects.

Backend:

Australia[Embed object displayed as an icon for Australia]
Brazil[Embed object displayed as an icon for Brazil]
China[Embed object displayed as an icon for China]

Much thanks.

You can teach Excel a new custom list. Type the list in cells, File, Options, Advanced, Edit Custom Lists, Import, OK
