Hey guys got a ? 4 you. Not sure what these are called so will do my best to explain what I am looking for.

In Excel 2007 I need to change the labels at the top (the column headers maybe) from A, B, C and ect to 1, 2, 3 and then change the (possibly called row headers) from 1,2,3 to A,B,C

Example: right now it would be A1 but when changed like I would like it to be it will be 1A

Sorry if clear as mud not sure on the terminology on this one

Thanks 4 your help :)

Format cells as currency
Select range and press Ctrl+Shift+4 to format cells as currency. (Shift 4 is the $ sign).
I don't think this is possible. Why do you want to do it? There might be another way to achieve whatever you want.

Hi,

I am not sure if this can be achieved. However, you can change the column names to 1,2,3, etc in place of A,B,C.

If you wish to do this....

Go to... Tools > Options > General
Then check the "R1C1 Reference Style" box.

This will change all the column Alphabets into numbers. This convention (R1C1 style) is often used in VBA.

However, I am not sure if the Row names can be changed to alphabets or not.
