Hello

I would like to find out if it is possible to change a cell color if its been used by a sumif formulae. For example I have a spreadsheet with a whole bunch of sales that each have a code. On the next sheet I have a list of all those stores with they're relevant codes. I am using the sumif function to pick up the codes. New codes come in all the time so I will constantly need to update it, is there a possibility to use conditional formatting to highlight all the cells that were picked up by the sumif formula.

Here is my formulae on Sheet 2 (Daily Sales November 2021) picking up from sheet 1 (Daily Sales November 2021)
=SUMIF('Daily Sales November 2021'!$E$7:$E$1048576;'November 2021'!A6;'Daily Sales November 2021'!$D$7:$D$1048576)

How can you turn a range sideways?
Copy the range. Select a blank cell. Right-click, Paste Special, then choose Transpose.
If I may ask, how would I copy and paste the format underneath all these cells without it highlighting more rows?

For example it does this when I copy and paste the format

Sorry, but I don't understand what you are asking. Surely you want the CF to work on more than one row?

Yeah, when I copy E7 and paste it going down it adds more rows to it like the image I showed you, instead of just being $E$8 it will be $E$8:$E$178

Rather than pasting the CF, delete everything, then select E7 down to the last row you want to use & then create the rule.

Glad it's sorted & thanks for the feedback.
