Hi everyone,

I hope someone can help me regarding something that has been puzzling me.

I want to import the following page into Excel via a web query:

BBC Sport - Football - Live Scores

On the right side of this page there is a section titled 'As It Stands Table' which has a dropdown box which seems to default to 'Premier League' when the page is loaded. However, I want the Championship (the second option in the dropdown), so I selected this option and pressed the Update button from within the New Web Query box.

However, selecting the page and then importing it always seems to import the Premier League table, regardless of what is selected in the dropdown box on the page. There also doesn't seem to be a way of just selecting the league table to be imported rather than the whole page.

Does anyone know how I can get Excel to import the selected league table rather than the Premier League table every time, as this is frustrating me.

Any help would be appreciated.

Chris
