Changing the views - in Excel 2003

Dear All

I would like to remove the naviagtion bars (the ones which have the A-Z and 1-365+) is there anyway I can remove these?

You can do it for specified sheets in Excel 2007:
Windows Button
Excel Options
Advanced
Display Options for this worksheet
Uncheck Show Row and Column headers
