Hi everyone,

I'm making a profit and loss statement and I would appreciate it if someone could tell me how to change the color of a cell to red for a loss, and make it stay green if a profit was made.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Excel Facts

Can you AutoAverage in Excel?
There is a drop-down next to the AutoSum symbol. Open the drop-down to choose AVERAGE, COUNT, MAX, or MIN
You can just go to format - cells - number.
And select red font for negative numbers.

That horse (of the conditional formatting kind) has been beaten to death...resurrected then beaten to death again. Rinse and repeat. Always try doing a search on the board first.
