Hello,

I just realised that I was not able to use different colors for the major and minor gridlines on charts in xl2010.
Actually, I was not even able to select these independently.

Do you know if there is way to have different colors for major and minor gridline?
(Or is it one more frustration with xl2010?)

Thanks,

Michel

Excel Facts

Create a Pivot Table on a Map
If your data has zip codes, postal codes, or city names, select the data and use Insert, 3D Map. (Found to right of chart icons).
I can set different colours for them in 2010. Do you have SP1? (can't say I ever tried it before I installed SP1)

Sorry,

I was confused because the "gridlines menu" works differently than in xl2003.
In xl2003: two binary choices: major tickmark and minor tickmark.
In xl2010: four possiblities: maj, min, maj+min or none choice.

But it works indeed.

Thanks,

Michel
