Anyone know any code to check to see if the MSQuery is selected on a machine when a file is opened?

Also, if it is not selected as an add-in on the machine, could code be written to automatically select it?

TIA

Excel Facts

Which lookup functions find a value equal or greater than the lookup value?
MATCH uses -1 to find larger value (lookup table must be sorted ZA). XLOOKUP uses 1 to find values greater and does not need to be sorted.
Hello,

How about this?

Code:
Sub InstallMSQueryAddin()
If Application.AddIns("MS Query Add-in").Installed = False Then
    AddIns("MS Query Add-in").Installed = True
End If
End Sub

Thanks Dan
Works Great. I have to send this file to about 30 people in field offices who seldom use Excel and I wanted to avoid including instructions and getting phone calls from the instructionally challenged.
