Classify items by number sold

Hello, I would like to rate each item to find out why my "bread and butter" items are. e.g. ITEM1 would get something like CC and ITEM2 CA and ITEM14 AA. what formula can look at all items and score according to preset rules (e.g. top 10% = A and so on)

I'm not sure I understand the helper column. If the high helper numbers represent the lower COS (cost) then yes. what I'm looking for are the items that sell most and cost least. thanks for your response

not enough info cost 1 sell at 2 cost 10 sell at 50 - if you sell 100 of each the latter is better

yhou did not define COS - I had to guess.............
