How can one clear a range of cells each time the workbook is reopened automatticlly?

I would select the range and name it. If the cells are noncontiguous then hold down the CTRL key while selecting them. Then put this code into the Workbook Module:

Private Sub Workbook_Open()
    Application.Goto Reference:="your_ranges_name_here" 'Make sure that you include underscores if any
    Selection.ClearContents
    End Sub
