Code for Progress Bar Box

I have a macro that copies spreadsheet data from an internal company website into another spreadsheet file on the local machine. I was wondering what the code is for making a visible progress dialog box appear when the copying starts so that I can tell what's the progress or when is finished? Also where would this code reside? Inside the Macro or somewhere else?
