If I'm using a VBA script to hide rows of a certain color, do I need to set the ColorIndex in VBA, or will color changes via Conditional Formatting work?

ColorIndex will pick up on cells that have been coloured manually, or via VBA but cannot recognise cells that have been coloured via Conditional Formatting.

There is a way round this, but it's not a simple workaround. Have a look here for details :
