Greetings,

I'm attempting to create a pie chart with five evenly spaced slices, each one having their own label, but I also want to have the ability to show a slice in a color of my own choosing; green, yellow, and red. The file is uploaded to icloud, but I can also share it via email if needed.

The intent is to simply display an item of interest and report it's current status.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Did you format the pie slices appropriately?

What are the formulas in the cells plotted in the pie? Note that I have just updated my post with the tutorial with a better formula for this range.

Excel Facts

Bring active cell back into view
Start at A1 and select to A9999 while writing a formula, you can't see A1 anymore. Press Ctrl+Backspace to bring active cell into view.

Make sure the slices are formatted properly. Type 1 in column G. What does the chart look like?

You have to go around the pie and format the pieces using the list of colors in column E. Then put the formula back into column G.
