colour code number and % concatenated

Hi,

I am concatenating 2 numbers - a % growth and an absolute number to a cell in this format xxxxx% / yyyyy (the number of digits are variable)

The question I have is, can I color code the % using custom format (no vba code)? like if % is below a threshold, show red ?

You can conditionally format the entire cell, e.g. to display in red font, if the % component is below a threshold, i.e. conditionally format the cell based on the content of the preceding cell containing the %).

But I think you're asking about having a different font colour only for the % part, i.e. two fonts in the same formula cell. You'd need VBA to do this.
