I sometimes log onto a shared PC to work in Excel. I have found that when Excel opens, the columns are numbered and the rows are lettered. I'm sure this is a simple option to select, but don't know where to find it. Anyone know off-hand?
Thanks

I've never seen the rows lettered. Are you sure about that? As for the columns being numbered. Try Tools | Options... | General {tab} | R1C1 reference style {checkbox}

Thank you both! I checked the R1C1 and it was not selected. The PC has been tagged to be re-imaged since there seem to be many strange glitches.
Thanks for your help and knowledge!
