Why does 9 mean SUM in SUBTOTAL?
It is because Sum is the 9th alphabetically in Average, Count, CountA, Max, Min, Product, StDev.S, StDev.P, Sum, VAR.S, VAR.P.

WOT didn't like sharefile so I haven't looked at the files

But if you need to compare differences between sheets that need row and column alignment then SpreadSheet Advantage offers you a 30 day free trial
- use the Row and Column Aligner tool to set the two sheets up
- use the Compare tool to report on differences (by value, formulae or both)
