Comparing Sheets using conditional formating

Hi,
I have two sheets with names (cca.1500). I have received third one filled with names which are supposed to be the same as the first sheets two consolidated. I would like to use Conditional formating to colour the names in first two sheets if they appear on the third one. Any suggestions? Maybe another approach?

This is your combined sheet 3. Range name for column A is LookupList.

1	Barry
2	Geri
3	Stephen
4	Gayle
5	Frank

Sheet 3

This is your sheet 1, with the first partial list. Select column A and use this conditional formatting:

Formula is: =NOT(ISNA(VLOOKUP(A1,LookupList,1,FALSE)))

and format for the pattern/font you want.

	A	B	C	D
1	Barry
2	Elf
3	Geri
Sheet 1

Use the same conditional formatting for partial sheet 2
