Hi everyone, I am trying to set up a VBA macros. I have:
Code:
Dim Path, FileName As String
Dim  i As Integer
.....

'i goes in a For ... Next Loop

Path = Worksheets("Sheet1").Range("F23").Value

File_Name =Path& "POBTR2_Portfolio_" & i

        ActiveWorkbook.SaveAs FileName:=File_Name, FileFormat:=xlText, CreateBackup:=False

However, I get an error msg at

File_Name =Path& "POBTR2_Portfolio_" & i

What is it that i do wrong?

Excel Facts

How to change case of text in Excel?
Use =UPPER() for upper case, =LOWER() for lower case, and =PROPER() for proper case. PROPER won't capitalize second c in Mccartney
I think it's because you're not defining what file type it should save as. Try changing the code to:
Rich (BB code):
File_Name =Path& "POBTR2_Portfolio_" & i & ".xls"

You need a space before the ampersand:
Code:
File_Name = Path & "POBTR2_Portfolio_" & i
