I am trying to output a kml file from a costar database pull. CoStar is a real-estate market database and my output file has columns with information such as Building Adress, Lat, Long, etc. I know both the KML string and I have coded the VBA for output and formating, but when I try to concatenate the data into one KML string, VBA wont let me because I need to use tags such as <name> </name>. The process works when I keyed the formula into a cell, but when I try to get VBA to produce the same effect it automatically changes my formula. How do I solve this problem?

Also along the same subject, I need to make my first cell
Range("A1").s = "<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>" but it wont let me because of the nested quotation marks

Excel Facts

Lock one reference in a formula
Need 1 part of a formula to always point to the same range? use $ signs: $V$2:$Z$99 will always point to V2:Z99, even after copying
but when I try to concatenate the data into one KML string, VBA wont let me because I need to use tags such as .

Can you provide a sample of what you are trying to concatenate together? Perhaps appropriate cell ranges?
What's the result string supposed to be?
