Hi.
This probably is something stupid, but I can't figure it out!
Im trying to aplly a Conditional Formating to one cell (K2) based on a formula and it works fine, but as soon as I copy the formating to all cells in the same colum it keeps the formula intact, not changing the line number (K2 to K3 and so on)...
Is it possible for conditional formating to assume the line number automatically, like a normal formula on the cell once you copy it changes the line number by it self?

Excel Facts

How can you turn a range sideways?
Copy the range. Select a blank cell. Right-click, Paste Special, then choose Transpose.
This is how conditional formatting works (starting in Excel 2007). When you apply a rule to a range, you write the rule as though it were going to apply to the upper-left cell of that range. Then for all the other cells it will internally use the correct relative cell address (K2, K3, etc.) But you still see the same formula for all the cells.

If you do some testing you will see that the conditional formatting works as expected for all cells in the column.
