Conditional formation/ Highlight a row based on specific columns

Rules
*Students marked absent under the "All day" column must show supporting period absences. Conversely, students with absences in all period columns (Per0, Per1, Per2, etc.) should have an "All day" absence recorded
*Every "All day" absence must be verified
*As long as a student has been marked present at least one period, school can consider him/her present (All day column should have no absences)

Attendance Code Key

A- Unverified Absence
U- Unexcused Absence (Verified)
E- Excused Absence (Verified)
P- Present
Blank cell - Not absent (counts as Present)
C- Meeting with Connector/Counselor (counts as Present)

Attendance Error Summary
Yellow # of all day records incorrectly reported as present (all periods are absent)
Green # of all day records incorrectly reported as absent (at least one period present)
Red # of unverified absences
Total # of Errors

I had created a conditional format
=$i2=A to show the unverified absences (Red)
absolute value of column I activated since column 2 had to equal to A format in red.
