Is it possiable to conditional format an area of cells based on whether or not there is a red shading cell in that row, i.e. for cells A1:A15 if there is a red shaded cell in A16:A25 then the entire of A1:A15 row needs to be shaded red as well??

Many thanks

How to find 2nd largest value in a column?
MAX finds the largest value. =LARGE(A:A,2) will find the second largest. =SMALL(A:A,3) will find the third smallest
You would need to Look into using VBA for this, there isnt a Formula from memory that returns a specific colour or colour index jus a 1 or 0 if it has colour.

Search the forums for Return Cell Colour or use a search engine, i just did and plenty show up
