What would a formula look like if I want to use Conditional Formatting to highlight specific values/cells on a spreadsheet? Using the below data as an example, I want to use conditional formatting to highlight in red W88DAA and W98LAA....

Excel Facts

Can Excel fill bagel flavors?
You can teach Excel a new custom list. Type the list in cells, File, Options, Advanced, Edit Custom Lists, Import, OK
unsure of your question exactly- but could you use conditonal formatting and create multiple rules based on what you are looking for?

Can you post some sample data.

MrExcel has a tool called “XL2BB” that lets you post samples of your data that will allow us to copy/paste it to our Excel spreadsheets, so we can work with the same copy of data that you are. Instructions on using this tool can be found here: XL2BB Add-in

Note that there is also a "Test Here” forum on this board. This is a place where you can test using this tool (or any other posting techniques that you want to test) before trying to use those tools in your actual posts.

If you want to highlight BOTH the W88DAA and W98LAA values red, you would just use a Conditional Formatting formula like (for cell A1):
Excel Formula:
=OR(A1="W88DAA",A1="W98LAA")
