High all, I must be under the influence of the weekend blues because this is just not working for me. What I'm trying to do is to format cells in color based on the text in another cell. So if the text in cell J5 is "Shipped" I want to color format in B5. Then I will drag that conditional formatting down to J102.

Excel Facts

Select a hidden cell
Somehide hide payroll data in column G? Press F5. Type G1. Enter. Look in formula bar while you arrow down through G.

Select the range B5:B102, go to Conditional Formatting, and use this formula:
Excel Formula:
=$J5="Shipped"
and choose your formatting color.
