Conditional formatting based the content of 2 cells

I want say.... in cell q2 for it to first look at d2 to see if I have a "C" or "S" in that cell, if d2 has "C" and the formula in q2 equals 170 or greater then q2 turn red and bold or if d2 has a "S" and the formula in q2 equals 300 or greater then turn red and bold. In english if a person is type C than they can not go over 170 and if they are type S than they can not go over 300. I don't want to have to sort by C & S then apply a conditional format. Please help, I've been frying my brain on this spreadsheet.

Format > Conditional formatting

"formula is"

=OR(AND(D2="C",Q2>=170),AND(D2="S",Q2>=300))

set red font and bold

Thank you very much! It worked and worked great! After applying that, I came up with a couple more ideas, but I want to try to do them myself first before I ask for any help. I felt like I should have been able to figure this one out on my own, but after a while I felt like I was chasing my own tail in the same circles. Again, thank you!!
